FIRST OUTDOOR RACE - 400 METER TRACK

MAIN RACE INFO

*Race Location - Hamilton Southeastern H.S. 400 meter outdoor track - 12499 Olio Road, Fishers, IN 46037

*Race Time - 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Waves (see wave schedule below)

*Track Open For Racers - 6:00 AM

*Race Day(6-20-26) Packet Pickup and Registration - 6:00am opens and runs through final wave start

***Racers in later waves can come at anytime ~45' prior to their wave start to get packets***

6:00 AM-2:00PM: Race day registration, timing chip pickup, body marking, and packet pickup (arrive 45'+ prior to your start)

PLANNED WAVE SCHEDULE(chosen at registration)

---Morning block 1 (8:00AM–10:00AM wave starts) *Long or Short / Levels 1,2,3,4 / Singles & Doubles---
Register for morning block 1 for Long OR Short distance of any weight level and as singles or doubles. As soon as possible tentative wave start times will begin being emailed so you can confirm your time works for you

---Morning block 2 (10:00AM–NOON wave starts) *Short / Levels 1,2,3,4 / Singles & Doubles---Register for morning block 2 Short distance of any weight level and as singles or doubles. As soon as possible tentative wave start times will begin being emailed so you can confirm your time works for you

WHAT YOU GET

*Professionally chip timed event with splits for all 17 segements (9 run, and 8 infield events)

*USAT sanctioned race

*All participants get a race t-shirt

*All finishers get a medal

*Overall winners, per gender, per distance, per weight category in under 40, 40-54, and 55+

TEAM vs INDIVIDUAL

*Teams must run and complete infield events together, BUT, may split workload during infield events however they wish

*Teams can be mixed Gender, or same Gender, awards categories will reflect this

*Individuals will complete the entire race solo

​

PARKING

*On site for all racers and spectators short walking distance from the track facility

​

PACKET PICKUP/REGISTRATION

*Bring a photo ID to packet pickup and registration.

*Cash, check and credit card, Venmo, and Paypal(3% fee for online and card payments)can be accepted for day before and race day registrations.

​

RACE TIMING, RESULTS, AND TIMING CHIP PICKUP

*Chip timed results with all splits

*Post-race results will be available at rubletiming.com live during the race, and on display on screens at the race site

*Timing chips will be given out at registration / packet pickup

*Soft neoprene ankle straps will be provided to secure the timing chips.

NUMBERING

*All participants must be body marked race day(calf and arm/shoulder) with a permanent marker by a volunteer, and will receive a wristband at packet pickup that is color coded to distance and weight level

​​

CLOTHING

*Males must wear a bottom(shorts, pants, etc) at minimum + shoes

*Females must wear a bottoms(shorts, tights, pants) and sports top covering chest at minimum + shoes

​

SANDBAG LUNGES DETAILS

*Shoulder sandbags with handles, carried on shoulders while lunging.

*Knee hits ground on each lunge step

*One foot always on ground, trailing knee must touch ground on each step

*100 meter distance

BURPEE BROAD JUMPS DETAILS

*Jump for distance with feet together, drop to puhup position chet touches ground, up to feet, repeat.

*No forward progression other than with the jump(next jump starts where last jump landed)

FARMERS CARRY DETAILS

*200 meter walk/run with Kettlebell in each hand

​

AUDIO DEVICES

*Headphones, headsets, walkmans, ipods, mp3 players, or personal audio devices, etc. are not to be carried or worn at any time during the race.

RELAYS

*Relay teams will do all runs together, and can choose who does the infield events as long as 4 are done by each participant

​

RESTROOMS

*There are restrooms on sit

​

T-SHIRTS, MEDALS, AWARDS

*T-Shirts will be in the race packet. 

*Finisher medals will be given at the finish line. 

*Overall and masters awards for male and female.

​

FOOD AND WATER

*Water will be available on the outer lane of the track on one side, must throw cup into trash can along track when finished

*Competitors can also place a water bottle on a table on that side of track if they stop to drink or take a lap while drinking and place back on table.   No drink bottles on the infield

*Post race drinks, fruit, and packaged snacks free at finish

CONTINGENCY PLANS

*Once registered, if you can't compete, we offer a trasnfer to any similar priced future event
